I've been an editor for around 20 years, though I started as an assistant on film aged 13. I spent several years working for ITN, then for ITV and the BBC. There I was mainly cutting current affairs and consumer programmes, as well as onlining and grading a large variety of shows. More recently I've been involved in launching some very successful ships for a number of indies.
I love the variety of the job, but am mostly interested in science, history, reality and current affairs documentaries and series, though I have been known to do everything from sport to factual entertainment to corporates.
